Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I do before sending my thesis to you?

2. What file formats do you accept?

Once you have made sure that you’re completely happy with the content and layout of your finished thesis then you will need to convert it as a single file to PDF format (portable document file). PDF is the only format we can accept for digital laser printing as it will preserve the exact accurate typography and layout of your work true to how you want it printed regardless of the application and platform you have used to generate the document. For this reason we have provided links to free PDF converter for your use on our blog.

Note we can take no responsibility for checking or changing submitted files before printing. It is your responsibility to ensure that there are no typographic errors, problems with page numbering or omissions from the document both before conversion and after you have received the file in PDF format.

3. How much is it going to cost me?

As each customer has slightly different needs, we can't just put a flat rate per thesis. However, to get a very accurate estimate, use our calculator located in the "Find Out More" section. When you do place your order, an internal calculator will give you an exact bill based on the services ordered.

4. How do you know which pages to print in colour or in black/white?

Our digital printers will not print any pages with coloured text, photos or graphics contained within them in colour unless you specifically ask for it to be printed in colour. You can mark which pages you want in colour when placing your order. All other pages will be printed in black ink only and charged at the black ink only printing rate.

5. How long will it take?

We can get your thesis to you in a minimum of two working days from the time you order. However there are a few things that might slow us down:

a) Latest possible submission times:

You may place your order at anytime, as our site provide 24 hour service. However, our other operations only work during regular working hours. For your convenience, review the information below to see what the latest submission times are:

b) Note that these service levels cannot be guaranteed by us, although we make every effort to adhere to these times. Service may be interrupted during public holidays.

6. What binding options do you have?

For now, we only provide hardcover binding, with lettering on the spine and/or front covers. You can choose which colour we are to use for your thesis (list of colours available located in the order menu).

Important Notice: whilst every effort has been made to reproduce these colours accurately, users should be advised that actual cover colours may vary from that displayed on your own computer monitor.

7. What are my payment options?

All payments must be made via iPay88. We will only begin production of the thesis once payment has been confirmed.
